Experience the rich tradition of the ancient art of Ikebana. This 500-year-old method of flower arrangement is the essence of harmony and beauty. Ikebana was originally created for use as Buddhist floral offerings. It is now taught worldwide and enjoyed in many settings. You can make Ikebana a part of your life.
Styles of Ikenobo Ikebana are:
Rikka - an upright style which traditionally depicts a landscape.
Shoka - uses only one, two, or three kinds of materials.
Shinputai - more modern, presenting a bright feeling through harmonious qualities.
Jiyuka - a freestyle expression of Ikebana, uses plant and artificial materials in abstract ways.
